Default Brake problem, Rod doesnt release easily

Im having a problem with my rush evo, the brakes arent working. I know the pad is fine i just replaced that but the rod doesnt move freely so if i apply brakes it doesnt release afterwards and even applying brakes doesnt get the car to stop. Everything looks like it should be working fine. Should i apply grease or something to get the rod to move back and forth more freely? Any help will be appriciated thanks.

If it is sticking, then a drop of light oil should loosen things up.
