who knows, they could keep them both due to the long success they've had with it. About 40% of the ST guys own or have owned a GT I am one of the 60% who haven't

A: where's the punctuation
B: Within 2 years the old GT will no longer be produced, but they WILL continue making parts for it.

mihael, the Factory Team GT is a GREAT truck. it won't hurt to tell your hobby shop owner that you're not willing to pay full price when the GT2 is coming out soon though

If that is the factory team version, why does it have normal plastic shock towers and a-arms? I think the dual layer chassis looks too much like the xxx-nt. It is the exact same format. The first gt was a lot more simple and easier to work on than the xxx-nt, plus the price was better. Now that they are the smae in design, and maybe price, it will be intresting to see who comes out with more sales. I am going to say that the AE is going to win that one....mostly because of their great track record. What do you guys think?

I wouldn't doubt on the engine being able to pull wheelies. I had the HPI .15 SS in that kyosho ultima truck I used to have (the engine has slightly more power than an OS .15 CV) and she'd pull wheelies whenever necessary.

This truck looks pretty cool actually.
I like my XXXNT and was considering the Drake2, but, with the aftermarket support Associated seems to have over Losi ( and the ever controlling Horizon ), I think I'm going to jump ship.

Now you all are saying it looks like a Losi because it has a double chassis and now it’s going to be a PITA to fix any thing. I thought the same thing at first too, but I took the time to look at both and I can see the differences. The radio section is from the TC3 design and comes out with 3 screws. Sounds easy to me?
The rear brake isn’t like the Losi’s either. It’s behind the spur like the original GT so it wont be a PITA to get to the rear diff off.
To me, the only thing it resembles to a Losi is the fact it has a double deck chassis. Even that is a bit different how and where it sits.
Instead of the one bar form the front, it now has the upper deck to make it a bit more stiffer. What about the new ERA double deck chassis for the original GT? Same theory but the GT2 is lighter.
