Judging on [link=http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j8/MrShookie/DCP_1568.jpg]this[/link] picture, the front end of the truck looks to be EXACTLY the same as the T4. Anyone that owns a T4 will understand that this is good news 'cos The T4's front end sucks. I broke 3 front a-arms, a hinge pin brace and bulkhead in 1 week at the BMX track getting less than 4 feet of air.

I also broke another one but that was when filming [link=http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?docid=-4731035467739635143&q=RC10T4]this video[/link].

And no, RPM does not make A-arms for the T4 - I expect they'll make them for the GT2 though.

im hoping to get one once i sell my other stadium truck. ive got a really nice OS .18 that i dont want to get rid of so im going to see if the local track will let me race with it, it has a pull start so i dont think ill be at much of an advantage, id just have to get the clutch adapter and a side mount manifold that can accept a pull start. oh, and an FM computerized radio so im not using different ones for each car

I've got mine and started building it last night. So far the build has been incredibly easy and straight forward. A few tolerances were off so be careful not to strip the plastic.

One tip I would suggest is to put washers on the screws that capture the pins. The little screws sit behind the pins and are supposed to hold the pin in, but the screws seem to be very small to me so I added washers. I would hate to have a pin come out during a race.

Wide, the way he's describing it it sounds like the captured suspension arms on a Nitro TC3.

Basically, the suspension pin slides into the arm/bulkhead, and then on each end you have a screw. the screw hole is directly next to the hingepin hole, and the head of the screw keeps the pin in the arm.

Correct me if I'm wrong

I have tried to run a Sirio 18 in a 1/10th ST at our off-road track....no dice[sm=spinnyeyes.gif] I would keep spinning out and running off the track while good 12s kick my butt all day long. An .18 is great for bashing in something like a rustler, but it ain't real good for off-road racing in my experience.

What servos are you going to use? What motor?

Yep, the inner and outer hinge pins along with the kingpin, fit into a capped, blind, or semi blind hole and are retained with a screw head cam lock.

if i have to run a .12 at the track, i will save up for one, but id like to run my .18; its just that ive had so much experience driving with it that it would be kind of weird for my not to use it. im used to the powerband so i dont think i would have too much trouble keeping it under control. ill just have to get in some practice time

ThunderbirdJunkie explained what I was talking about very nicely lol. Just make sure you put washers where the hinge pins are being held in on the arms (front and rear, you'll see what I'm talking about during the build).

I'm putting a Mugen MT .12 in mine with two hi-tech digital servos.

I've got my build done but I'm waiting until after this weekends race before I pull all the electronics over. I need to get some time on the track and find a good setup before I compete with it. BTW Jconcepts has a GT2 body out now.

Ive also had a play with the new gt Factory Team kit, not sure if yours is the factory drivers one.. But my mate is one of 3 to get the early factory releases and it looks great. i was right, it is a little heavier than the gt but in the right spots, you need to put a washer on the hinge pin screws and just wow, it looks great.

I'm using two 5625 MG's. They are good servos for around $50 but the some people claim that they don't last (I've had mine for over a year and had zero problems). I want a little faster steering response so I will be buying an good Airtronics in the near future.

I'll post some pics of my truck tonight, I just got the body done.
