Default RE: what do u think of my xxx-nt?

what do u all think i would get for this off ebay?
xxx-nt rtr with lots of hopups.
over 900 invested

it has a dynamite .12 spd with about 3/4 gallon in it. plenty of bite left on it
robinson racing aluminum diff
drake tuned pipe
1200 orion battery pack
xr2i radio with rechargable batteries
glowplug with rechargable batteries
set of step pins with 99 percent tred
set of step pins with like 15 percent of tred left
i dont know what the ones on it are but they are from a nxt and they got pretty good tread about 80 percent tread left
front tires got about 70% tred left
stock servos z270 throttle z590 steering.
comes with ofna starter with brand new 12volt starter just doesnt fit in there right. u can rig it up somehow other wise it is set for the xxxnt
stock body
nice clean airfilter.
everything in the picture comes with it and there is small stuff like oil and small stuff that doesnt really make a huge difference.
the truck is nice the motor starts right up. runs in its upper 30s maybe 40s
the engine has always been run somewhat rich cuz id rather keep an engine than lose one
reason for wanting to sell is i need to save up for a real car
ill clean before selling also

reason im saying this is so u guys no what im goin to do to it.
also how much u think ill get for it

you might be able to get 250-300 with all the goodies. I dont mean to start an argument, but the dynamite engine might hold it back from what you can get for it. But who knows, give it a shot.

Dude. If thats all you got for $900 change hobby shops the one that sold you this stuff is way toooooooo highhhhhh. lol

Other than the grime the truck looks good.

I just sold a GT for $200 that had alot more goodies with it than that so not sure what you will get for the losi. My guess is about $250 to $350 tops. Good luck though.

lol ummmmmmmm over 900 invested total. the car and other stuff. fixed parts hopups. and not to be rude or nothing but i guarantee that dynamite is pry the most trustworthy engine on the market today. plus that thing opens a can of woopass. lets just say my friends picco cant keep up. when i mean over 900 i mean like everything

well not to rain on your parade but ill list what i picked up recently.

when i bought my GT it cost 300 AUSTRALIAN. thats about...220 US.I got it 2nd hand after a race meeting from an out of towner.

Factory Team GT
JR XS3 synthesised radio with 6 channels etc etc.
Spare arms front and rear X 2
A LOT of spare screws, bearings, glow plugs.etc
Team orion wasp 12 side exhaust ROAR.
OS 12 CV-R new in box.
OS 12 CV-Max new not quite broken in , in the truck.
Compresionless OS 15 CV-R, thats 4 engines 2 that went one that exploded within 2 minutes of starting it and a fixable but old engine.
Standard servo's X 4
15 through to 20 teeth; clutch bells
MIP 4 in 1 clutch
5 or 6 flywheels
Cresenzi Racing brake kit (the leather one)
Spare fuel tank
Spare chassis (shorter RTR one)
About 20 tyres mounted
Spare full set of perfect shocks and all shafts for the car (hinge pins)
Spare CVD's
Crowdpleaser body( was quite nice till i drove it, and promptly destroyed it )
Set of RPM gear (all including the reciever box)
Set of springs
Almost every plastic part on the car spare. including shock towers (plastic as spare factory team carbon fibre on the car)
Spare factory team header X 2

And various other bits that have been super handy, i think ive proven my point.
A friend of mine payed 110 for a totally stuffed XXX NT AD1 chassis with 1 servo needing a clutch body engine radio LOTS of peices all over it, it was a parts scavenging car. and he payed half as much as i did for that awesome deal above.

The point im getting at is that you win some you lose some, you may get 400 USD or 100 USD. you may not be able to sell it. But often expect for the recipient of the car to get a deal, and get over it. Ive looked at selling my old nitro sport racer but i couldnt get the price it needs in parts , even though its difficult to break when you try (manages a mail box WOT slam nicely) and goes only 1 second a lap slower than my GT. So it sits as a car that has no point in me selling it. Its worth it more to me to fix it then drive it myself later down the track when i have the money.
Maybe you shold do the same, stay in the hobby.

Dann has a good point though. It's really hard to say how much you will get for it. I have seen a lot of people ask the same question on here... Sometimes the estimates given were much different than they really got for it. And sometimes they were pretty much dead on.
The value of STs drops more than you think when they become used. People never know how well the truck was treated. If I was going to buy used, I would try and expect the worst, but try and save enough money so that if the truck is trashed I will be able to fix it up withought spending more cash than it would cost to buy a new truck completely. If that made sense to anyone.
I personally would say more than $180 and probably less than $300

If you are serious about selling it and trying to get the most for it make sure you clean it up really nice. Maybe even take it all apart to clean it. Then get new pictures of it.

Dont tell us tell ebay

Im not rich either im only just 16[X(] did you guys know that? read what i payed for it. about 220 US i got a good deal that how i afford racing and saving up really hard taking work wherever i can get it. what i was saying is that you shouldnt expect a price just dont be surprised either end of the spectrum and wish for the best.
