i wouldn't..lol its all about oil content and if honest, if u have lots of it in drips and drab's ur engine will hate it, stick to one brand!!..runing diff nitro fuel in engines is not good news, i dont think so anyway and it sounds like it old fuel??... dont ever use old fuel!. hope this helps.

Airplane fuel has more oil content in them compared to what we use. They also use less nitromethane.

An ideal fuel for our engines is 20% nitromethane with about 10-12% oil in the blend. Anything more than 12% is unnecessary.

Yeah I have read that thing before and it sounds like a promoton to me. There is some good advice in that article But I do not like how they try and promote blue thunder as I happen to think Blue thunder is crap.

But you can run the fuel but it will run like crap.

i run byrons 25% race with 11% oil. stay away from blue thunder and duratrax fuels and you will be good. i break in my engine with the same fuel i plan to run later. make sure the oil is mostly castor, it will provide better lube so u can run a leaner(and faster) engine without overheating. if possible ask some local guys and see what they recomend.

First O’Donnell does not publish their oil content. They do say protects as good but no oil content listed. All so most manufactures have different blends with different oil contents. Sidewinder I think has 3 blends Basher, Race and Pro. Basher has the most oil and Pro has the least. O’Donnell has RTR and Race RTR has more oil then the Race.

I have to agree as the reason they do not need the oil content like they did years ago is because of the better protection of synthetic. Go to any fuel manufactures web site and I do believe they well say the same.

I agree and do not like Blue Thunder but you have to take any article and read between the lines. If I am not mistake Blue Thunder is only mentioned once. The article has a lot of good information!
