Hat's off to Mugen -- I got bored and needed something to build. This kit is by far the nicest kit, just loaded with quality parts in every sense. Other than a few stupid ambiguities in the manual and some BS parts-mis-match crap (easily fixed with quick call to mugen) this kit just went together awesome.

a quick word of advice- my one groan about this kit: The prospec comes with the one piece engine mount.. for those of you (like me) who had an extra Ofna 28 laying around to go in, the engine will not fit -- not only will the roto-start not fit, but the actual BLOCK will not fit into the one piece. Luckily I havea close friend with a machine shop, so I milled down the piece and made it kind of "U" shaped, by cutting out the rear cross-member. For anyone the is thinking of installing a roto-start, keep this in mind - ALSO, maching out the engine mount was NOT enough- I had to dremel down the ofna roto to make it fit, even after the mount was milled out...

Um...it's a racetruck. 99.999999999999999999999999 % of people will not use a rotostart...it's made for use with a starter box.

I hope you're planning on racing it, because your money would have been better spent on an RTR Savage for bashing

If those are the tires he is going to run it is never going to see the dirt and if it does it sure will not handle well.

wow- hey, thanks for the lecture. Is there a middle finger emoticon? My money was spent on BUILDING A KIT -- I had alot of fun building it and I posted it because I was stoked... thanks for killing my buzz man... does the thought "what a dick" count as a flame?

More to the point, i thought you were *****ing about having to modify the truck to accept a rotostart.

yes i agree with tbj, your prolyl the only person on the entire planet with a rotostart 28 in that truck, with those wheels/ tyres, but well dont im sure it will go quick and it looks great.

The MBX5-T is one hell of a nice truck. BUT, it's not a stadium truck. It's a truggy. And therefore, it doesn't belong here.

i love the truck excellent job[8D], nice body aswel, get some pics without the shell on. if your racing that at your track dont use them tyres lol. and as evader said DONT LET IT BE A SHELF QUEEN! ps if posible get a video of the truck runnin, i want to see how it handles
