I like the moabs and the wheel combo. As for the battery pack venom, HPI. The price for a brand name is going to be more. Third of all for the front bulk head you are going to need a tap. Bring the old bold to the hardware store and match up the tap to the exzisting bold. Make sure the thread pattern is the same! It would be good if you couold also bring in the bulk head. Ask for a person that know the most about taps and dyes. You can mess up the whole bulk head very quick is you do it wrong. You will also need a handle and MAKE SURE YOU ARE PERFECTLY STRAIT. Here is a pic of what a tap looks like.

Hi guys,

I got my car out again this week

Ive got a question though....

When i eventually started the car and got it warmed up to temp (ish) i started to move the car further away from me but i noticed as soon as i went about 10-15 meters away from me i would loose some
throttle control and the engine would make a weird noise ?

Im not sure if its my batteries (if they are beginning to die, im running rechargable AA's if that helps), or if ive got the car tuned wrong ?

Thanks [8D]

Well i took my car out at my nans and it worked like a dream

i fixed my car to factory settings and re tuned and put new batteries in and it started fine.

There was a huge park with a skate park but it had people in their with their bmx's so i couldnt run in there

I found another park with huge hills and a muddy patch! great fun lol

Dog walkers were a bit amazed by the car and it grew a bit to much for the dogs hehe

Anyway hope everyones firestorm is running well, ive gota clean mine up now [8D]

I got this pack with my firestorm as a combo deal kinda thing it works great so no problems yet (in the uk though)

http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXVZ06&P=7

As for glow plugs i used the one with my firestorm during break in and it didnt last long.

I bought some glow plugs from a hobby shop in London, not sure the make but im almost certain everyone will recommend OS no.8 plugs.

I havnt used these yet but they will be on my list next.
