You would have to make mounts if you want to add a different wing, but that's not entirely too difficult. It just takes a bit of imagination. I would suggest retrofitting a wing mount from a chassis that uses a separate mount, like a buggy or something.

RE: -=OFFICIAL HPI FIRESTORM THREAD=-
Looking for owners of rc's that live in PA, MD. I have a nice new spot to build track, already has a huge burm on it. I will post pictures of this area. I really don't want to put all this work into this place just to race/bash myself.

Maybe around $150. Why do you want to sell it[X(]?Having trouble?Or do you just have speed fever?

Maybe if you are interested I can give you a deal?! I have a brand new engine coming from hpi but I thought I might hold onto it or maybe sell it seperately I don't know.

Hello all
I new to the rc world. I have 2 nitro st's both xtm.
I was looking into getting a firestorm, love the way it looks and all. I only about half way through reading the back pages.. and seem to be all good reviews so far, but that was awhile ago. anyone have any complaints with these now.

The video that u saw was of my firestorm bone-stock, however I to reccomend a MG high-torque servo so that you can tighten the servo saver as tight as possible, which will give you a quick steering response.

Hi guys!
I just got my firestorm today..
I have one question though, what type of flat screw driver do you guys use to adjust the LSN(low speed needle)? I just can't figure out how to reach the LSN coz its in a tight position..
Thanks in advance!

The LSN isn't very tight and is quite easy to move with just a regular scewdriver at an angle. just use the scew driver to push on the side of the scew that you want turn. I hope this helps.
BTW the firestorm manual advises against tuning the LSN and when I asked the hooby shop where I bought my firestorm they said the same thing. If you do tune it (like I did anyway) you need to go very small increments at a time like 1/16 of a turn or less you won't have to move iot very far to get a good tune from stock.

Hey TVC, whilst your Firestorm is new, I'd advise you glue some soft fabric to the inside of the body where it touches the exhaust. Otherwise in just a few runs time you will find you have rubbing patches where the body has scuffed against the exhaust. You don't have to, but it will make sure your exhaust keeps its black paint job!

RE: -=OFFICIAL HPI FIRESTORM THREAD=-
I have had my firestorm for a few months and my only complaint is the battery holder had a bad connection from the factory and the thing kept running off on me top speed into trees, cars, curbs, etc. It has been scattered in pieces on my desk for the last few weeks due to broken parts. the last impact was a curb and it ripped it all apart, bulkhead, a arms, upper chassis deck, wheels, etc, etc got broken. It runs real good though after all that it was still trying to haul ass. haha. And it is hard to find parts for this at any of the LHS's around me.
