Some of this aluminum stuff you can get from ebay. but not the front bulkhead. Hot racing has parts for it too. www.hot-racing.com/?c=239 there's a link.

I recieved my 2.2 Axial Beadlock Rockster Chrome Wheels on Thursday,July 10,2008!!!Thats a date to remember!LOL
I HIGHLY reccomend these! They require no gluing and you can take the tires off by simply unlocking the bead!!NO MESSY BOILING!They also have SSSWWEEEEEEETT looks!
You can buy them here: http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...K+++&search=Go
These are the tires that I rapped around these beauties: http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXUM92&P=ML
Here is my Firestorm in its best out-fit yet!!:

I took this thing out for a spin yesterday! Those tires bite wherever they please!Unfortunitly,I couldn't drive it on the dirt track because of the rain..[:'(]
My CV-RX is running perfect too!Temps are 220-240 with a good smoke trail.Wheelies on all terrain!!!!!

I use 10w-40 motorcycle oil in my diff. It makes a great improvement in turning on-power.

firestorm coming in the mail soon......plan on breaking in the motor as soon as it gets here. Anybody got any suggestions on which method to use. Follow the instructions or do the heat cycle? IF anyone has instructions on how to heat cycle please let me know. I'm a total noobie when it comes to nitro rc. thanks in advance everyone!

do the heat cycle, much better!

Have a read of this thread, will save everyone having to write what to do for the thousandth time!

http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_5517128/tm.htm

Basically you need to go very easy on the engine, whilst getting the temps up as quickly as possible. Use a hair dryer to preheat the engine as hot as you can before you start, and wrap the engine head in foil to keep the temps up

Hey all, I am getting a Storm in a couple of days. I am currently running Traxxas 20% for my Revo 3.3 and I have read that I should not use top fuel unless I am running a TRX engine.

What fuel should I use for my FS? I will be bashing mostly.

Thanks

Check your gear mesh, wheels, and dog bones for gravel,dirt,etc....I often get stones stuck between the wheel and the hub carrier.

hey i have had this with my tmaxx it is a simple fix maybe for ur firestorm. First though, does the engine still rev normal? If so it is in the transmission. For my tmaxx there is a little pin that holds the gears to the shaft and it prolly broke, just find a nailthe same size as the hoole and cut it to the right length. Then tape the ends so it doesn't fall out. that is what i will be doing tonight for my tmaxx. If the engine is not revving then you prolly have a rock stuck in the drive shafts.

Yeah the engine still revs normal so it must be the transmission

so now find if there is a main gear shaft, not the spur gear. you are prolly going to have to take some stuff apart. It might be a stripped gear. Is there like a loud strange noise when you rev the engine? So just refer to my last post about how to fix it. Good luck

I don't mean to differ, but there is a big chance there is some sort of obstacle stuck where its not supose to.If you can't find anything of that nature, check elsewhere.
There is really no sense in taking somthing apart when there is a likely cause still unchecked...Firestorm trannys are hard to break. It is very unlikely its broken.

I had the same prolem the first week of my Storm and lost a header bolt and gasket, This will be an on going problem and always check bolts before you go out and run your truck. I finally used some loctite and it work. im thinking about putting nuts on the back side and longer bolts.
