I just got some new stuff for my FS. Axial Rocksters, Proline Gladiators, new spur gear (stripped last one), and and Integy fuel filter/primer.

Why do you want to change it?The Stock one is one of the best...

Thank you for going through that with me. I was actually talking about these clutch shoes. http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXVK12&P=7
I think I figured out how to put it on. The HPI rush has the same shoes and I just downloaded the manual. It goes right through the instructions. Now I see why i need to take my flywheel off....otherwise it is really hard to get those springs in there right.
Wait a minute. Why take off the flywheel?I slipped them right on....

Yeah, I just got back from running it. The Rocksters are great, the tires are great. Integy fuel filter/primer... not so great. It leaked the first time I used it. I guess I'll have to try and fix that.

Here is an update of my firestorm, I painted the shock tower, springs. etc. and the air cleaner. And some pics of the the clips I made
from zip ties, fuel line and toilet chain. I am not losing them anymore which helps. I also beat a savage xl on a straight run today and also jumped about 6 feet in the air off of a cement pad lip, too bad I went tumbeling and broke my fiber brake disk right off, i can't find it....good thing I have an extra one. thats amazing thats the only thing that happened. sweet.................! have fun out there!!!

Does any one know How to I make Proline 2.2 dish wheels fit my firestorm? i accidentally mounted my new sand paws to the wheels without checking if the wheels fit. It looks like the wrong hub clamp for the wheels.

haven't posted in awhile but im still tweakin on my FS
i just picked up a new breather for it, well actually its to cool the oil on the head for cars but with a small mod to it it works better than the stock one

step 1 open package
step2 shoved the blue filter from the stock one down in there, otherwise it would be just a metal filter
step 3 installed it on the FS

so there you have it, the body fits great, increased air flow, and it looks totally awesome

Is your brakes even slightly pressing? check clutch and gearbox.

Blind Object,
Check your exhaust gasket, mine was doing the exact same thing.. I found the header loose from the factory then I noticed some/alot of spent nitro right underneath where the header connects to the motor, pulled it and sure enough my gasket was split...
If this is the problem, try Nates fix and get some auto gasket or Tower Hobbies sells them in a 5 pack...
