It sure does look cool though!
If only people could be bothered to put time in for quality te place wouyld be a much better place.
I think everytruck car should have a cage like that. Whats it fit like with the shell on top?

hi all i have a idea make your own it only cost 5 bucks in tubing and a little skill you would not even need to paint it sell them for like 20 ya ya 20 bones lol no realy i made my own cause they were 179.99 3 years ago pics in gallery here

have you used one, i dont care about looks, i want it to protect my ride, i like to bash and i dont always land on my feet, the first time i replaced the inner tray it didnt seem like it was a flexable plastic like the original,, and it wasnt, i landed on its roof and it broke on both sides where the roolbar conects to the tray[:@] if anyone have pictures of the cage on there ride i would love to c it

I think these people make a good roll cage, and alot of other stuff for the traxxas trucks. They are currently making a bigblock conversion kit for the jato, looks like I will have to ge tthis truck.

New Era Racing sell`s a cage part # TJT910s I think....? it`s a half cage that might be what you want...sell`s for about $40.00. It`s alot smaller and less expensive.

those rc solution cages look way strong. they actually designed them well instead of just welding some metal together. that new era one looks like it would bend in a second, while the rc solutions has the virtical metal parts so that if you land on the top nothing will happen. the only thing i could see that would get past one of those would be a horrible tumble and ending up hitting something like a large rock sideways really hard. but at that point all you can do is practice driving more

ok well idk if you guys have seen the pictures floating around of the silverdao with one wheel ontop of a lst with a rc solutions cang well that is great for ontop but u could bend the sides with your finger i found a pic where a savvy tipped a pole and the cage bent and ssnapped on the sides but was fine ontop

hi all dudes just make your own then you will not spend all your $$ on shipping and handling returning crapy parts [sm=punching.gif] and any ever see a a elephant stand on a egg[sm=spinnyeyes.gif][sm=spinnyeyes.gif][sm=spinnyeyes.gif][sm=spinnyeyes.gif]osuwins what you want pictures for ?? to copy some one else design ?? is what i did hehehehehehe hay make one out of titanium now that would be strong

hostile grounds we walk on....[8D]heres my 2 cents... if ya want protection while flipping through the air at top speed then do an upgrade of the frame yourself. instead of goin on about it. some people cant afford to by those cages because of thier equipment. but hey its some protection.... get over it and get on making an upgrade for it.... [8D]

at work we got some of the new era ones in. Lwet me tell you, that thing must be made of steel. It is a heavy ****. I doubt that thing would ever break, even if you dropped it off a cliff. The welds were nice and strong also. However, they fit very poorly. The body wouldnt go over it.
Overall, it needs to be designed better for fit. Other than that a nice product
