Exhaust Question ...
Has anyone used Traxxas single chamber resonator exhaust on they 2.5 engine? If so, how did she run? Noticble power increase and where at, tuneable etc. I just installed one on my N Rustler but have not had a chance to run it yet...... Rain, snow, and cold cold temps in my area. All input is greatly appreciated.
Oh yeah I'm a newbie here

RE: Exhaust Question ...
welcome! I just put on the same pipe on my jato. this pipe sounds like a billion killer bees when the motors warmed up!! but my motor seems to run alot hotter. still trying to tune it good. I got the temps back down. unfortunately, I sacrificed my wind shield to do it. I plan on using screen door mesh to keep rocks from flying in. still trying to tune it good. where I notice the power is mostly midrange, but since we have different gears, itll be different for you. how cold is it? look in your manual at cold weather running. I broke mine in at 45f. runns great. I just couldnt wait. when we had snow this year, I ran my jato. but the car was a little too low, and was more like a snow plow. check out slapmafro.com snow is fun to mess around in.

RE: Exhaust Question ...
Hi, I had the single chamber on my 2.5 Jato. Re-tuned it and ran very well. Biggest thing you will notice will be the 'holeshots'. A lot better. Since then I've put in an O.S. .18TM, with the dual chamber. Just waiting for warmer weather to break it in. Both pipes are the Traxxas 'chrome' pipes. Later, Bob
