Firestorm vs. TA GT 2 RS
I am looking to make my first purchase and narrowed it down to these two trucks. Just looking for input and opinions on the better purchase. Thanks for the help.

RE: Firestorm vs. TA GT 2 RS
I was originally going to get either a firestorm or a gt2 rs to race and I was about to get the firestorm but i decided to for a lighter car over a more powerfull one. Let me tell you, if you get a gt2 rs you won't be disapionted, I got mine a week ago and the tires are already gone and I haven't taken the carb restricter out yet I'm still suprised at how powerfull the ae .15x is. So, my advice to you is- if you want to get into racing,I think the gt2 is best. If you are going to be mostly bashing and just kinda messin' around, I would suggest the more powerfull firestorm. I hope this is of some use to you![8D]

If you race anywhere they run by sanction rules you will have to change the engine in both as the limit is .12. Firestorm comes with a .18 and the GT .15 which are both out law engines. But the .18 will put a hurting on the GT 15 big time. Bashing or racing I still would get the Firestrom.

i went with the gt2 rs, great truck. already flipped over so many times not sticking jumps and haven't broken anything yet, just lots of mud, dirt, and grass caked all over the chassis. taking the carb restrictor on the gt2 rtr engine really gives it power across the board.

RE: Firestorm vs. TA GT 2 RS
I just purchased one last week, good reliable truck, easy to start/run. It cost alot less than most...ex:jato 3.3 nearly $500 and the Firestorm w/3.0 RTR for around $260 to $320.....and they both do wheelies right out of the box !

RE: Firestorm vs. TA GT 2 RS
I would have to say the GT2, I saw one this past weekend and was really impressed with it. Honestly, if they had one in stock at my LHS I would have probably bought one over the HPI Firestorm. I ended up with the Firestorm, but am very impressed with the GT2, they have a better gear setup as well. The GT2 is a good quality truck.
