a jato is the quickest thing on the market but limited buy its 2speed.........if you want all out speed (with out bein limited by amount of space) a RC10GT would be a way better choice

I wasn't going to get that serious but thanks for the support. I drag raced for about 11 years in Fremont California but only 2 best were 2nd place in C GAS modified production. That was only because they cheated more than I did [>:] and for 4 years my partner and I had the fastest 1/4 mile 56er Ford Pick Up. That 426 wedge Dodge engine with 13 to 1 pontiac pop up pistons moved pretty good with a 3000 pound body on it Damn I got off the question, see what happens when you get an old man thinking way back in the day [&:]

Out of the box was what I was refering to about the TRAXXAS trucks but there are a lot of better choices if you GOTS yenom backwards [sm=wink_smile.gif]

an article in rd car action last month (i think) had a step by step on how to mod a jato3.3 to drag. looked pretty good. might look at that for some ideas.

The Schumacher Menace I think does 65 stock...3spd....longer chassis, more stable

RC10GT for drag racing? I would go with the jato for that seeing it has a 2 speed and all.

^^^^^^^^^^^^ this is a very tru statmen............if he is actually goin to do 132 foot runs...........but if he is goin to race with his friends of a street with about 300+ feet.............a RC10GT would be a getter choice and with the right set up it would outrun a jato...............(shoot i know mine did many many times)

If you want a vehicle thats only good for straight line, traxxas is the company to go with. If you plan to take it onto a track... dont even bother considering Traxxas.

i heard the schumacher xtr thingy is the quickest, 3 spd, .21. not very controllable though, menace is more stable/controllable at speed, 4wd as opposed to 2wd

Jato 3.3 is going to be the best dragster out of the box. Sure, you could put a big engine and some other crap in a GT to make it beat a Jato, but you can do the same things to the Jato to make it even faster as well. Drag racing gets boring fast though.

THJI STAMENT IS THE BIGGEST BS IVE SEEN!!!!!!!!! the only people that dont care about drag raceing is pretty much everyone on this forum..................ME ALL I DO IS DRAG RACE!!!!!!!!!! and when i go out to race there is always 50+ people there to race with where i em at...........
