Default Engines for rc10gt (please help)

Hello I was looking for a new engine for my rc10gt and I came across these:
Do you know if they would be a direct drop-in for my rc10gt? If not do you know what I would need to do to make it fit?
Thanks a lot,

1) O.S. .18 CV-R w/11J Rotary Carb
2) O.S. .18 CV-R (P) w/11G Slide-Valve Carb
3) O.S. .12 CV-X w/Recoil

My friend just dropped the OS .18 CV-RX w/rotary into his RTR GT. He said he used the stock mounts, but I cant say I watched him do it.

The X only means it has a recoil....

Dont know if you wanted a recoil for those first 2 since you did on the 3rd one but if you are looking for the pull start you need the .18 CV-RX...

I am looking at an OS .18 for my RC10 also, and was wondering how much-if any-difference ther is in the standard and sg crankshafts. You see, I am impatient and my lhs only has the sg one in stock (and only 15 more than tower!!!).

The easiest would be the os .18 cv-rx (s) w/ 11J Rotary Carb. It is a direct drop in no mods. You just need a clutch nut to go on the end of the shaft and you need to take the flywheel off the old engine and put it on the new one.

Just ordered my 18 (OS CV-RX). I am looking forward now to accelerated tire wear and testing out my freshly home-built wheely bar.

The .18 OS CV-R is in and waiting to be fired up. I need to fix the wires for my temp sensor first.

The engine you are asking about comes with a S crankshaft, they also have one with a SG crankshaft / you may have got the shaft the wrong way [X(]

Got it broken in yesterday. Even still running pig-rich (only getting to 160 degrees), this thing picks up quicker than the RTR .15. I can't wait until I have time to get it tuned.

ya the O.S. engine is a killer! i have it on mine, and the thing goes. just barely blip the throttle and the poor thing falls on its back. i have through like 2 bodies on it since i got the engine because of the torque it has makes it wheelie and fly backwards. pretty much doing a backflip. haha good luck with it, and you wont be disappointed with it. its FAST
