Which fuel is Better?
I have an o.s. .18tm and a ae .15 and was wondering what fuel would give me the best performance and engine life. I will stay with 20% and currently I am running trx.

RE: Which fuel is Better?
I used to run Traxxas 20% in my AE .15 and switched to Werks Race-blend 20%. I have since switched to the OS .18 CV-rx, but still use the werks fuel. This stuff is great. No temp issues. Starts easier than Traxxas. Makes more power. Plus, plus, plus if you ask me.

Other for me. I run Tornado fuel. 25% feels like a 30% haha! Plus, Tornado-Products is European (specif, The Netherlands)! Running an American car with Euro fuel!

RE: Which fuel is Better?
I run WILDCAT ELIMINATOR 20%N 14%O
I had been running the traxxas fuel at the lhs's suggestion.I always had rich/lean running issues going from full to empty tank. With the wildcat fuel I had no such issues and good power cold or at running temp.

I use O'Donnell Race Blend as I get a free glow plug with every gallon.
Another factor was that it was the only fuel they had in stock when I picked up fuel for the first time for my new buggy. lol Since then, I've always used it.

RE: Which fuel is Better?
Most on your poll has the blend not just the brand but some do not. This makes a BIG difference, as it has to do with oil content. You want to keep your oil content to 10 to 12%. The worst on your poll is Traxxas way to much oil and Blue Thunder has to do with what blend you run. Stay away form Sports and RTR blends, as they tend to have to much oil. Too much oil can be just as bad as to little.

RE: Which fuel is Better?
I'm going to put in a vote for duratrax red alert. I run O.S. engines in my STs, and the red alert keeps the engines at nice temps, produces great power at all rpm, doesnt foam, idles great, and my engines last forever. Some say its too oily, but I have been using it almost daily for a year and if it runs this good, I ain't planning on changing. Thats my 2 cents, heck, buy a quart and give it a shot!

RE: Which fuel is Better?
what about morgan fuels? sidewinder? I have used coolpower in all sizes of 2 & 4 stokes in the air since the first case was made back in the 70's love that stuff.
So I would tend to want to try it for the surace too. I have run a tmaxx 1.5 some a couple of years ago,but am now getting into rc cars & trucks more and into nitro mostly.
