Default Firestorm leking out of the carb-is this normal?

My firestorm is leaking out of the hsn verry little, but pourin out of the the rotary throttle thingy side with the rubber cover. Is this normal? How can i fix it. Ive used special sealant on the carb bodys(where it goes into the motor) but how will i seal the carb where it moves in ad out?
I am relly worried because the car is 6 tanks old, and runs great, but dumps fuel and then gets dirt everywhere.

Please help

Thanks in advance, Birel19

Its not split, is it normal to leak a little out of the hsn? Is there a way to stop the leaking out of the rubber grommet?

so your saying fuel comes out the top of the high speed needle?. No this is not normal. You could have a blockage. Unscrew the needle and give it a clean. Get some pictures showing were the fuel is actually coming from oh and take your carb off and give it a clean up and closer inspection

Pick up some associated green slime and smear it on the oring to help it seal. Leaking fuel from any engine part means your truck will be running lean.

Try replacing the O ring on the HSN and then put some Green Slime on it.

i would say orings are the culprit here. and the hpi site has a online manual with the exploded view of the carburator. good luck!
the vase of the hsn should be brass/gold with flat sides, tighten it down to the carb when you install new oring.
