I am very impressed , such as 12mm alu.hex , 6mm axle , F&R brake (can use 777 brake disk) , F&R braces , no e-clips suspension mount , 105cc fuel tank , quite big shocks & blue wheel nuts ....

Well all I can say is that Kyosho America generally dose not get anything till everyone else on the world dose. They did not get the Half 8 Mini Inferno for like 2 months after the rest of the world. I will call them on monday to see if I can get the buggy sooner than December. However I just sent Neu Motors $700 usd for a few new brushless motors and funds are tight. But I think they will be great cars.

Hey GTR, i remember once you own a mt2 18ss+ before and you sold it off. My question is, how well is the new buggy perform, speed and else else as compare to the mt2 you used to own. Cheers!!

So anyone in the states get one yet? There are always one or two on ebay, but I've never taken the plunge. I have a brushless crt.5 and want a buggy to go along with it, but I'm still not sure about these. I was hoping one of you would have gotten one by now.

gtr, its been a few months for you, what are your thoughts?

Hey guys! I'm new here to RCU and I'm starting to get back into RC. I was thinking of getting a either an[sm=confused.gif] HB Lightning 10 or this. I don't plan on racing anytime soon...just good ol' bashing. What do you think? [sm=confused.gif]

I'm so tempted to get one, but the downside is that no one else will ever have one. A 1/10th 4wd nitro buggy/truck class would be great, but everyone is already so set in their own classes. I fear that if I get this, its going to be a basher only.... which is not bad, but not as much fun either.

75 my local track has a 1/10 class. i would figure most tracks would especially with the popularity of the hpt firestorm and MT/MT2 and MT2 G3.0, associated rc10, and traxxas notro sport / rustler. maybe talk to whoever is running the tracks you run locally.

Well, I took the plunge and ordered one. I got the DST. Local track has a 1/10 stadium truck class. Hopefully I can run this with them.

hey gtr,
any breakage or things that we should be aware of?

I wonder if kyosho plans to come out with upgrades for this. That's the major thing keeping me back. I would like to see CV style driveshafts, alloy chassis braces, alloy hingpin braces, alloy or c.f. plates, etc... It would be nice to have the option of bringing this buggy up to full 1/8th style race spec.

Hi rschoi_75 ,

up to now no broken parts on my dbx.

Kyosho already issued some option parts for DBX/DST, such as 17S hard anodized chaasis , SG shaft engine mount , alu.shocks/spring , F&R CVD , DBX/DST shell ....

NOV,07 new parts : http://www.kyosho.com/eng/products/rc/np0711.html

DEC,07 new parts : http://www.kyosho.com/eng/products/rc/np0712.html

Jan,08 new parts : http://www.kyosho.com/eng/products/rc/np0801.html

FEB,08 new parts : http://www.kyosho.com/eng/products/rc/newparts.html

I guess kyosho will issue more option parts for DBX/DST by month.

Nice! but it looks like I'm going to be forced to order those parts from Japan. I can't find them for sale in the USA (online stores). Thank you for the link.

Hello,

I'm just waiting for options parts too here in France... I just broke a wheel shaft recently.. of course no way to find the part in France.. thanks to amainhobbies site... :-)

Ok, original hexes are 12mm.... Is there a technic to change this hex ? (17mm for example..) or perhaps it's too big for this car... I'm novice.. I dunno..

thanks for your help !

I know the ofna 17mm hex fit for REVO 6mm axle (same as DBX axle size). But I dont have idea can 100% fit DBX or not.

By their conception, i'll say that the Ofna hex doesn't fit on the dbx... no way to fix them.. or perhaps combinated with another options parts ? dunno... what we need is a Kyosho Conversion Kit... it would be great... question is to know if the dbx support big wheels...

btw, very interesting system gtr.... I actually have a wheel shaft (the broken one) in my hand.. with hex... I look many times the installation video... but I don't know if this device is ok.. its seems to.. not sure.. need to be tested.
