Default anyone take there car to school for a project?

We are about to do a project at school involving rc cars. we can bring in are own and has anyone taken one to school if i do i'm going to try to see if i can take a nitro becuase my electric stampede it in peices with a busted transmition. I think i would be better off taking an electric becuase not much room to go fast and i don't know if he would let us go outside for the nitro car. also for science fair has anyone done a project involving rc cars?

I haven't. I don't think I'd want to take it to my school with all the dumb kids that think its a toy and/or something they could drive, or work on, or fix, or even touch. We have alot of room to run a on-road or off-road though.

I did a science project on what tires are better, i know someone else did one on how a 2 stroke engine works. I want to get a bunch of people together and bash that are from my school.

my school is too dumb, they have to worry about teaching us elementary and middle school level stuff, so they wouldn even consider anything about rc cars

EXACTLY....there are quite a few kids at my school that actually have them, and 90% of the rc'ers have t-maxx, and i think everyone has a traxxas, but still, it would be neat, but like i said my school is too dumb

yea, it'd be cool to have a rc club, but unfortunately I don't think rc is very popular at all in the Cypress area...however, I was in the library the other day and saw a rc driver magazine, that means that someone else is out there...most people wouldn't appreciate the car and work and expense that goes into these things...

I'm with just about everyone else. Too many idiots around. You're basically just asking for an expensive mess at the end of the day...

I brought in my electrics in middle school and did a science project on suspension. Everyone liked it, Nitro would have been sweet, though

We did a project when I was in school where we had to right down a 15 step process on how to do any6thing of our choice and someone else had to take the instructions and then do it. Well I did mine on "How to rebuild RC shocks" and had my shocks rebuilt by someone in my class. I sat there and watched them do it so they didnt mess anything up and I stayed nice and clean the whole time. It was nice to have someone else clean your shocks and then rebuild them for you, while your watching them. LOL
