Alrighty!

So today I took it to the nearby hobby shop and they're taking care of it.

Pull start, Filter, Pipe, tubes, and complete engine cleaning.

Around $100 =(

+Glow start...mine broke. =(
But hai! It's a sweet truck. Tomorrow it will be done. =)

THANKS EVERYONE THAT HELPED! I REALLY APPRECIATE IT!

I'm making of the truck just for you guys =)

Damn, I ran it today for a good 30 mins. Then my "transmission" box broke =(

Anybody have an idea how much it is to fix it?

Those 30 mins were fun though, it's fast and turns real well.

I got everything, but I don't have enough experience to mess with it yet. I'll let the local hobby shop do it.

It look like a simple set up in the gear box.

The problem is that left wheel axle turns, but the right doesnt. =(

When I accelerate, the left axle(The parts which connects the wheel and gearbox), turns, trying to spin the wheel, but it can't because the right one won't spin at all

back to the shop it is.

Left it there till tomorrow or thurs to pick it up.

They don't know what's wrong with it yet. On the way there i picked up a couple of handy tools for it and looked around for a body cover...and none was there.

It's gonna be hard to find one -_-

It is a Duratrax Maximum ST Pro. It could date all the way back to 1998. I had the ST with the torq 12, mine was a 1999 i believe. Got it from my cousin in 2006 with the origional piston and sleeve believe it or not and it still ran (with major blow-by of course) Good little trucks but beware of the chassi flex. They are known for that and on big jumps you will notice that your replacing spur gears alot more often. Seeing that makes me wish I wouldn't have sold mine but I gotta say I love my Savvy.

If you u're talking about JoJo's, let JoJo tune it when you get everything together. For $15 he'll have that thing running like a dream. JoJo is one of the best.

Yeah JoJo is the best. As far as tracks....I've never been to any yet because I moved upstate NY but my friend says there's one near Sayreville, there's one in Elizabeth somewhere and I know this guy John that owns Champion Hobbies in Hillside has a pretty nice track that I've seen. You can go there anytime and run on that track. I'm not too sure about the other 2. If you need a body you can also call John and ask him because he has a small room overflowing with all type of bodies. His # is (908) 206-9600 and he is open on Sundays I think he opens at noon.

Awesome, I'll give him a call.

He lives about 30 mins. And a body for my car shouldnt be too much of a hassle. It's a 1/10? Right?

Seeing that the truck might be almost 9 years finding a body might be a little hard but I did a quick search and found 2 places that might have them...but they were over in Wash. State and were around $35 already painted. Did you ask JoJo if they could get u a body? Call John and ask him and see. I just remembered he has a closer store over in Scotch Plains but I'm not sure about the bodies he has there. Anyway here's John's website. Good luck.

I checked it out, it's an awesome webstie. I don't think it must be a daratrax body, right now I'm using a savage 25 body on it, and it fits properly. Even though it doesnt look very good...haha

i think any other 1/8, 1/10 would fit it well.Tower hobbies has a body for it, but it's 35 painted. :|

Well i a Savage body fits, then a Traxxas body might it too. I'm sure JoJo's has the body then instead if going all the way to Hillside. U can even go on ebay and look there if u have an account.

True.

It sucks most bodies are so expensive. I can buy an original one for my car, but it's 30!

I rather find something for 20 or less.

Its defo a DuraTrax ST, and not an MT as some others are saying. If you are looking for parts/bodyshells, they also go under a different name of Great Vigor (GV) Silversnake, and you may find it easier to find parts for that.
