RE: O.S. 15CV-X w/10E Rotary Carb..will it run Rc10GT
ive got one of those that i sometimes run in a losi xxxnt, but its not in the truck now, i have a .18 cvr in it right now.
its a very good little engine, mine even pulls wheelies on pavement,,,,,,,,,,,sometimes.
the pic you posted looks like that might be the standard crank, which means you might have to cut it down a little.
im not sure if that engine is available in the short crank version, and im pretty sure thats what you need.

Thats the exact motor in my Rc10GT So yes it will run great. You will have to cut the crank down though. Do you stilll have part 2 of the assem. instructions for the truck?? it shows exactly how to do it. Associated also makes a special cut off nut part #asc7620.
Get back to me if you need the manual, maybe i can download it to you.
Do you have the fly wheel yet?? Are you going to use pull-start or box?
Heres just a small list of Associated part numbers you have or may need:
asc7601 clutch shoes
asc7605 15 tooth cluch bell
asc7610 flywheel non-pull start
asc7612 flywheel pull start
These are stock from the catalog, you may aftermarket.

Yea, ASC 7612 is the stock flywheel for this application. However if you can find part ASC 7611 its an even better flywheel used for racing, since it has 4 clutch shoes. Dont forget about your clutch bell and e-clip.
I added some pics to my previous post of my gt10 with the motor in it.

I'm sorry but I dont know what you mean by the flywheel pivot. My motor came installed when I bought the truck used, but I have had my complete engine disassembled and dont recall that part.
