Well mine is a stock GT, but I enjoy running it against all commers on the road.[8D] The only changes is a wing and exhaust mods, makes for a cleaner car. Running silver springs on all corners and road hawgs tires, so far good performance.

RE: LET'S SEE YOUR RC10GT PICTURE HERE
heres another one, this one is bone stock, still has the dog bone shafts! i think this was ran only a few times, then i took the frame for something else, then rebuilt it a few weeks ago.. so basically its a slighty used GTbuilt on another used frame lol
this one will be my all blue aluminum GT, i already have the blue anodized front/ rear bulk heads , i also have the blue anodized aluminum Aarms on the way, along with a new unpainted body, with rims / tires. i dont like the white rims that are on it now. the only reason i put them on this GTwas because i wanted the brand new tires / rims on the nicest rc10GT.

this looks pretty sweet, does all the alloy not weigh it down? where did you get the polished chassis? i gotta get one!!
mine hit a kurb full throttle yesterdayripped the screws out of the front bulk head and i now have a bannana shaped chassis lol..... last time i ever lower it to get better handling, it used to just jump kurbs at stock height!
Try new era for alloy wheels, dont no if they still make them though, i think they around $40 for a pair!!

no , it doesnt weigh that much more than a stock GT.. i plan to keep it as a shelfer , occasionally take it out for a spin. later on id like to put in a 21 sized motor.
the chassis is a regular blue anodized chassis.. i just stripped the blue off using oven cleaner, then i wire wheeled the chassis and then polished it.

RE: LET'S SEE YOUR RC10GT PICTURE HERE
My fater in law is a shotblaster i might see if he could do it for me, if not il give it a go with the oven cleaner (i just happen to have some industrial strength stuff in the cupboard) is it easy enough??
the standard GT engine is suprisingly powerful for a stock engine, so thinking about it now it wouldnt make much difference with the alloy! personally i prefer RPM as it absorbs the crash rather than transfers it to the next avaiable breakable part.
although if i had 3 GT's i would probably do a black one, a blue one and an all aluminium one for show like you have. pretty sweet collection mate!!
any advice on getting a smoother transmission?? mine feels a little rough and only rolls for a couple of seconds, whereas my friends keeps on rolling and rolling for about 10-15 seconds?
any help would be great!

im no expert on the transmissions, ive never been able to get a smooth one yet.. i just run them till they go out, rebuild them or build another according to the manual. some told me to use valve grinding compound in the trans for a few tanks , then take it apart clean it then regrease it .was told it makes that the trans smooth as silk.
yeah i got maybe 5 that are complete,6 that are torn aparthere in hawaii, i think i got 14 complete ones on the mainland. i just like to collect them, nothing wrong with having a million parts trucks!!
when you strip the anodzing off the frame , wear gloves.. i didnt lol my finger nails wrinkled up and turned yellow for a month. dip the frame in to a bowl of oven cleaner or what ever, soak it for a few seconds and then take a old brush and just start brushing it off.. dont leave it in there too long because itll start to pit the aluminum eventually eating chunks away. then rinse it off with baking soda to kill the acid chemicals.. once the anodizing is off, itll look like its primer. youll have to wire brush it down to get past that primer grey look.. youll know what i mean you get that far.. after that start polishing away.
