RE: Official RC10GT Thread
I am glad to see this thread still alive.

I just traded a Factory Team RC10GT roller for a brushless Mini-t with lipos. But I have another Factory Team GT I will be selling soon on RCU. This one has some mods and is not a roller. It has servos/a Hot Bodies .18 engine/CVEC Pipe/aluminum rear bulk head/RPM front arms just to mention a few. I am going to ask $185 for it if you are interested.
Check out the pics below.

RE: Official RC10GT Thread
Well guess you can say I got addicted, and lets just say I'll be busy for awhile upgrading my GT's as well as breaking in my new engine etc etc...
As far as new parts (to many to list) I have upgraded on just about everything I could from stock or just bought new parts (in blue mainly) that I felt needed replacing...
Includes: Factory Parts, RPM, MIP, GPM, Futaba, OS CV-RX etc etc........
I will be taking one completely apart and adding mostly upgraded parts to a new two level chassis, as well as installing the OS CV-RX engine and lots of other goodies......
Here are a few pictures I took, will try and take pictures as I go along with my building process and vids of my breaking in and racing of the new OS engine etc..

RE: Official RC10GT Thread
Considering its the only one I've used its not bad, I still have to set the pegs to line up with the flywheel, but other then that it works great and alot cheaper compared to the associated starter box

I scored 2 RC10GT tub chassis that I want to restore. I found parts on New Era Models.com and was wondering where else can I find parts for these trucks?

What parts are you looking for? The main diff. in parts from the ol'school tub chassis and the newer chassis are the engine and tranny mounts...... Other then that everything is about the same, I use towerhobbies, losiparthouse, and this site:

RE: Official RC10GT Thread
Well I needed the pull start engine mounts and stealth tranny more than anything. Other than that I can get everything else I need from RPM and New Era.

RE: Official RC10GT Thread
hi ive been working on my rc10gt trx 3.3 project for some months now and i have some pictures i also have a tub chassis for sale or trade. i need a new body for this truck any cheap idea's also if you are wondering the battery box/ bumper is from a nitro rustler just had to do some trimming and it fit. the 3.3 was almost a direct fit just have to turn the pull start only motor mount around and widen and lenghten the motor mount screw holes and setup the slide carb linkage. im using a 66T AE spur and a stock t-maxx 3.3 Clutchbell the 3.3 is from my t-maxx the exhaust header is custom but i think the rustler 3.3 header will direct fit. this truck screams is very hard to control it is hard to get traction.

RE: Official RC10GT Thread
ok i added the traxxas ez-start system. no more pulling just for some advice the trx 3.3 is a pain to pull start. it did add a little bit of weight but it should help with traction the shock didnt sag so i should be ok. also i do have some youtube vids of my t-maxx and rc10gt with the 3.3 i was holding the cam and trying to drive kinda difficult except or the easter vids.
