I have room to drop the rear body mounts about 4mm more to get it level with chassis and i can raise/lower the front about 8-10mm. I used the gt rpm kit for the rear and the parma mounts for the front. I still have to trim the body a bit more then paint, mount up the panther sand paddles then its off to the sanddunes! I'll post some finished pics next.. Thanks for looking

That is a cool looking body I like how it stands covering the whole RC10GT nice fined man, what brand is it? can you please post the part number from it? can wait to see the final results of that baja bug.

thanks for posting it man.

i picked this one up from a buddy for 100 bucks, its was factory original exept the motor. the original 15x stuck @ TDC when it was new so he bought a os cv12 for it. it has only got 10 or 12 tanks through it. i did some of the usuall mods to get it race ready

Nice truck! The mip tower n' pipe are getting really hard to find i paid $40 for one used and it took me months to locate. Your truck would look wicked with a Vw baj bug body

a buddy of mine owns a hobby shop and i found it there. it was 4.00 for the header and 5.00 for the stinger. BUT it took me 4 hours and around 20 totes to find the stinger after i found the header ... it doesn't make the power that the FT smoothie or Drake make tho!

That's for sure!
Good bottom but there is no top with the stinger, I have the purple one.

Much prefer the original stock AE pipe that came with the O.S. .12CV powered Black Tub GT.

HEHE it sounds even cooler!
I just came back in from running a tank in the black tub that has the stinger as a matter of fact.

I think I'm gonna try my hand at porting one of the O.S. sleeves tonight.
I have a bunch of spares and I've been reading that modding thread in the engines section...
I'll post how it goes.

man this GT-FT build is turning into a pain .. picked up a light weight screw kit and its 6 screws short [:@] but the build is looking great though, will get some pix up soon, still waiting on one more lot of parts on order and debating on a bug body too [8D]
