that there is tricky
your gonna have to take your spur out and try and figure out its pitch. I know MT2s are MOD1 not sure what that one you have is.
If it happens to be MOD1 like mine was your going to have to make a driveshaft adapter (piece of hollow tube with a 5mm diameter) to shove on the motors driveshaft

hard to tell from the pic You almost have to take it to a hobby shop and hold it near the various pinions

I have a spur gear from one of my old pedes i use to own. It has a huge hole in the middle.

OK i am confused. The spur gear is hooked direct to the tranny right? So i need the little gear that goes on the motor that matches the spur gear to make it work right?

Ah so i need a pinion gear that matches the teeth on the spur gear. Ok now i gotcha.

most nitros use 32p. robinson racing makes a decent sized set of 32p, 48p and 64p gears.

Well i talked to my father about rc and decided i will give this one to him. He wants a beginner truck and this would do just fine. I will help him find the parts he needs to get it going again.

i usually just use a smaller pinion gear than i think will work and add teeth to bring the speed up until either its fast enough or the motor cant take any bigger pinion.
