Should be 30. Factory guys run 35 as a starting point. Shock oil has to match you spring rate. Stiffer spring needs heavier oil.

yea I understand that, see I race oval and even though im the points leader I have been having some trouble turning while going full throotle, The front in the gt is so light and the stock wieght oil is too heavy. I need the suspension to be weak so My wheels will dig into the traction more.

Are you sure you have the bearings in right, the flanged part should be inside the bell.

Both of them,Should I put The one that goes in first in the clutch housing and put it on like that or first put it on the shaft and then put the clutch on what do you think would be the easiest?Bud?

First you put the clutch on the pegs on the flywheel. Then you put one flanged bearing (with the flange facing toward the flywheel) on the clutch nut. Then you put on the clutch bell. Then you put your second flange bearing (with the flange facing away from the motor) on the clutchnut in the clutchbell. Or you can place the flange bearings in the clutchbell before you put it on the clutch nut. Either way you really will probably not be able to see the groove where you are suppose to put the E clip. It is a tight fit. If you really want to see it the get a magnifying glass and look. you should be able to see it then. Take your time and follow the instruction in the manual or the ones I have given here. Those flange bearings can get expensive if you continue to throw them.

Also if you do not have the manual you can go to www.teamassociated.com and get the RC10GT manual in a printable PDF version.

No,I took it to the Hobby Shop and a piece of the other Flanged bearing was melted on my engine shaft, and was keeping the new flanged bearing to go on.So I got it fixed now.Does anybody know If I absolutely need another nut before each flanged bearing or something? And can my spur gear be rubbing against something in back or underneath the truck it sounds like it is rubbing against somethiing.Does anybody know about Go-carts?

damn this is so annoying! I have the rc10gt plus rtr and when im about 100 yards away going full speed, it stops responding and crashes at full speed. Ive eliminated some possibilities and i narrowed it down to either the radio or the battery. i dont think its the battery because when i get close to it after the crash it starts working again. i definitely think its the radio. maybe its happening because i slipped when i was working on the car and stuck an exacto knife into the Rx, idno. :D
BTW The throttle return spring doesnt help if the radio dies, it only helps if the ball cup pops off the throttle arm

Hey Electricfan,

It's the radio. If it's an AM type, It'll only reach about 300 ft/100yds.
