Finished my body FINALLY
almost fully moved so i took a bit of time last night to finish up this body. I am very happy with how it turned out. the candy blue it much brighter then the pictures but for some reason the pictures did not pick it up well.
now the bad news. i finish the body and my truck if out of service. figures. I guess i will just shelf the body until i get a new truck someday. had a few offers to buy it as well so might go that route and just make a new one. part of the fun for me is building the trucks anyhow.

That's awesome! I wouldn't want to even use it with that kind of quality! How the heck did you do that?? Did you sketch it all out on paper first, or just wing it?

RE: Finished my body FINALLY
the paint was just regular lexan paint. The design itself was done with just some various pin-striping and detail brushes. I would not get detail like that by taping so it is all freehand. I simply started sketching and painting the design in the design until i was happy. then i added some silver highlights and then i back sprayed with its a candy blue. thats about it.
thanks for the kind words
