cut before. saves any chance of messin up the paint. use an exacto/scalpel to score around all the lines then you can just snap em off. leaves you with a perfectly clean edge, so no need for any sandin malarky.

i just finished these two bodies....
purple one is my daughters. shes 8 and uses my old FF-01....old trinity speed gems 12t
its kind of funny....the car is older than her by 4 years
the dodge is actually going on my drifter TT-01 but im currently waiting for parts from Australia

If you have a local hobby shop, you can get the paints there. Pactra and Tamyia make polycarbounate paints for painting the lexan RC bodies. As for the flames you can buy paint masks or you can make your own paint mask.

Cool herbie...great detail.
I like the dodge too... I have been wanting to do a dodge truck with the stripe that goes up the sides and over the top of the bed ,like a superbee..... a candy apple red stripe on a black truck. one of these days maybe.

If you don't mind my asking, how do you do the carbon fiber look? Can it be done with rattle cans?
Also does anyone know how to achieve a marble effect with rattle cans? Thanks

RE: POST YOUR WORKS HERE!
use 2 colors that are close to each other.....and get a plastic bag.....dip the bag in the lighter color then dab it on the inside of the body where you want that look....then spray the darker color on after its dry. you get the idea.....pick your colors wisely and practice...or it will just look horrible.
