I really dont know how (except from the stickers) but I've seen threads about that subject here before. Try searching a bit, I'm sure you'll find what you seek.

Take the stuff you find in kitchen cabinets that lay under your cups, and other dishes. )Its a rubbery material with square shapes cut into them.) Lay that down and spray black, take it off and spray gray.

Thats the basics, I've never done it but thats how I remember it being done.

I went to hobby lobby, bought this cloth type stuff, 1.49 a square yard, cut it to fit the section to be painted, I use pearl black first then chrome, it all depends, pearl blue with regular blue, color choice is up to you, just spray the darkest color first then the lighter color.
There is a thread on here back a few pages that can get you a great color combe for a life like color of carbon fiber. Mix copper and black and other colors, its alot of work but easy to do for a cool effect. Biggest thing, dont move the rubber/plastic or cloth mat once you start painting and shoot the paint straight. Best thing to do is practice befoe jumping into the painting of a body.
