those lines are supposed to be there, took alot of work to make to like that. if you look at second pick i posted of expected results, you will see they go up there.

still have alot of work to do, will cover up most errors with decals, started to rain during drying of white but a final coat should fix it.

Coming along great, what's the best way to mask windows, headlights, tails? Just good ol masking tape and a knife?

Wow, i definitely need to get me a HPI body if it comes pre-masked. Probably wont be as advanced as you and go multi-colored cause it's my first body. But I'll try my best. Light buckets are needed for lights right? Could i just take a piece of styrofoam, cut it the shape of the headlight and poke holes where the LEDs go and glued that onto the shell? It should shine through the decal if I leave the headlight part clear?

thats not the ones im talking about you see like on the door lines how the red bleed up and on the headlights the lines are not straight that is waht i mean they are spots were the tape doesnt stick very well and it happens alot other than that the body turned out good

yea headlight wasnt as bad as originally looked, headlight covered most, didnt have anything to remove excess paint, everything pretty much came out good except the red. next time i will spend extra time masking.
