I had my light buckets with the HPI greddy edition body.
You can flip headlights by using a 3rd servo connected up,ive seen them moved by a swing arm moved by the servo etc

Hello sorry i haven't answered anything yet been busy HW -.- but you ca get the light bracket at yokomo.com or rcmart.com its called the z33 buckets and if you use a servo to make a flipping how do some people make it stay in one place because when you connect the servo to the receiver wont it flip when you turn? or do u get another receiver im still very noob sorry for all these questions.[]

The best way to do this is to use a retract servo if you have a switch on the transmitter. retract servos are on/off so they rotate the entire way (set end points) with the flick of a switch. this would require a third channel on your transmitter which is two position.

Not sure if anyone is in need.... but I have some for the 190mm tamiya nismo 350Z that are unused.
I am in New Zealand and can ship overseas for a price - depending on how badly you want them?!

Cheers,
W

I know you just revived an old thread, but I researched this before I started my own custom project, and there aren't that many scale building tips on RCU. So, if you would like to build your own buckets, do it out of styrene! Heres a few pics of what I made for my Camaro project:

All they need is to be backed in black, and layed over with reflective tape/foil which I just got in last week[8D].

Tom.

P.S.- This was the first thing I ever built from styrene, its easy! For more plastic scratch building and detailing, check out scale4x4rc.org, its an amazing site!
