Just got my K Factor and I see in the D4 column that the D4/D5 Nats Tune Up contest/Judging Seminar is scheduled for May 20 & 21. Am I correct in assuming that this is a typo and that the seminar will be the 20th and the contest the 21 &22?

Scott now why would you assume anything. Anyways to answer your question i could'nt tell you. I do know that you need to be on 2.4 this year for the shootout along with the nats. I guess i am going to have to do what i should have done last year, spend alot of money and convert stuff over.

Denis, I'm starting my third season of pattern and have already learned two important rules:
1. Don't assume anything.
2. You have to spend a lot of money.

On the NSRCA calander http://nsrca.us/index.php/calendartop/calendar.html shows the D4/D5 event on June 4th and 5th. ???? I guess we will figure it out as time goes on. I would how ever be very interested in a judging seminar. I just wouldnt feel right putting scores down on paper without knowing what I'm doing first.

It is in May this year. That is a fact. Just not sure when the judging seminar will be? I suppose i should get ahold of Dave and ask.
On a totally unrelated subject. Is Quincy still on the schedule for this year?

When should we look for the other D4 and D5 contests? The NSRCA district pages are from last season....

The family is filling up the summer calender, thankfully I've been able to steer them to time during the worlds and nats but Iwould like to tentatively commit to several contests this coming season.

What I think is happening....... All based on final approvals
D-4 NATS warmup is May 21-22 not 14-15.. I believe the contest will also be a judge training/. Some ideas floating around had us doing a judge certification in the AM on Saturday and having a 2 round contest on Sat PM and 2 rounds on Sun am. Not my call just what I heard being discussed.
St Charles Illinois. June 4th and 5th. Moved early due to sun issues and conflicts in September.
Hoffman Estates Jim Hubbard June 25 and 26.
Nats first full week in August
New venue this year for the D4 vs: D5 Shootout August 13th and 14th in Peoria Illinois. Plans are to rotate this contest between a D4 and D5 site each year. Peoria was selected because it is centrally located for most. It's an experiment!!!
Sept 10th and 11th is Peter's contest north of Detroit.
Sept 17th and 18th Milwaukee Wisconsin. New date that we hope works better for all.
Sept 24 and 25th for the D4 Championship in Hebron Ky.
We need a July contest/ Nats warmup. Any takers?????

So I made a correction on the date for the D4 Warmup in Muncie
D-4 NATS warmup is May 21-22 not 14-15.
Dennis talks are going on to have a mid July weak Signals contest before the nats. The timing will be perfect for this contest. Mike
