RE: What airfoil is this?
Looks like NACA 64a0010 or 64a0012. Probably is not a NACA 65a0010 or 12. Compute the percentage of the thickness to see if it's 10 or 12%
OK. I counted it for you, that 10% profile. So, I put on NACA 64a0010. You can find it also as a NACA 640010.

Can anyone help me identify what airfoil this is?
Can anyone help me identify what airfoil this is?
Which plain does this aerofoil belong to? It looks like it’s from japans balsa kit like the Aries or the Addiction.

Henning

I'm impressed that you were able to identify what plane it was on...

Anybody know a way to do this without having to purchase an airfoil program (that I'll probably never use again!)

I have built both of them. If I remember correct the Aries has 12% rot and 13% tip.
The Starcraft Addiction 11% rot and 12% tip. I prefer the Aries to the Addiction due to a smaller wing area (snaps better) and a smaller fin/ruder which makes the plane better balanced in cross wind.
You can down load an aerofoil program for free from Ola Fremming’s home page called WinProf http://www.ofremmi.info/Software/Software.htm

RE: What airfoil is this?
I put on NACA 64a0010. You can find it also as a NACA 640010.
But it differs somewhat:
The NACA 6-series profiles have a concave rear section. The A-versions have this concave section filled in with a (near) straight line, and are therefore not the same.
This particular airfoil has a clearly convex surface all the way to the trailing edge.
My guess is that it is not a published airfoil, so you won't find the exact same airfoil in any of the databases.
Try this site:
http://www.profili2.com/
There are something like 1800 different profiles to choose from, you may find something that looks similar to what you are seeking.
