Here's a link to a build thread showing another way of attaching a canalizer. I used this method on my Xigris C2 and it's working well. It doesn't depend on your canopy latches to hold it in place.

Cheers for that.
Saw that build (over build?), quite impressive.

I can see why people have different reactions, there are quite a few completely different methods out there. Different, sizes, shapes, incident... not to mention placement. The latter being my main concern that's why I asked around and have settled on the flush TE position- @ 0 deg/75%fin.
It will be detachable!
