Big congrats to Dave Lockhart and all the FAI finalists! Wish I could have seen it.

I saw Dave flying the demo's and doing some practicing of the F during the week of the Worlds...he was spot on. A friend and I commented that he looked like he could indeed win the Nats...nice to see we were right.

So, as I'm trying to carefully ease out of an unpleasant situation, here comes one of the local "pattern hacks" from more than 10 years ago, by the name of Ron Clark, who decides he going to take what I can only describe as a "Hester cheap shot". How pathetic! Ron, perhaps it's time for you to have another attitude adjustment. Do I need to say more? Talk about people never changing? Give me a break_____Everette

Congrats Chad on your 2nd place finish in FAI! After a long worlds in the sweltering Indiana heat I do not know where you found the energy and concentration to keep going at that high level...

FYI, I coined the phrase "pattern hack" to describe the likes "Jason" after he took another "Hester cheap shot" earlier in this thread. Just thought you might want to know. ___Everette

Everette, I'm really starting to think you just like the attention all your negative posting garners you. "Trying to ease out of a unpleasant situation" would simply require you stop posting about it and let the flames burn themselves out. But you either can't, or don't really want to as evidence by your continual posting fanning them up again.

Literally all of the negative response sent your way in this thread has been as a result of YOUR actions, cheap shots, insults towards people who volunteer their own time to make the Nats happen, all while you sit comfortably in your chair in TN. The Nats is run for the competitors, not for you, me, or anyone else that didn't make the journey to attend. The people there owe you NOTHING. You MIGHT have an argument to make if the NSRCA website wasn't updated in a timely manner, but since you are not a member of the NSRCA (as stated by you), you don't.

Doug, It's concievable that you could be right. Doug, to set the record straight, I worked as a volunteer at the Nats several times over the last 21 years including the Pattern Nats that the NSRCA held totally independent of the Muncie site. So, I haven't always enjoyed my comfortable chair here in TN. To be politically correct, perhaps I should apologize in advance if any of the readers of this diatribe who find themselves identifying with my newly coined name to describe those that feel the need to "take me to task"! What do you think? I need your guidance. Thanks again, Everette

Strat2003, perhaps you identified with my newly coined name! If so, I'm sorry and you really should use the block. Do me a favor and at least have the common courtesy to spell my first name correctly before you go. I wish you well, Everette

Pattern Hack? Ah well, coming from the likes of you Everette that statement / label carries so much weight. Yawn!

My father had an old saying for people like you... There's no use trying to fly with the eagles when you're running with the turkeys.. Perfectly appropriate.

Now how about you try to add some value to the thread. People won't expect that and really will wonder "Watts up".

Jason.

Yep, a weapon of mass obstruction. With liberal application it can bring peace to the world.

The block function is something I did not think pattern people would need in this forum. I have now used it for the first time. Very Nice!!!

Hi,I find a certain "gentleman" on this, and many other, pattern threads tiresome in the extreme. However as I'm computer dumb could someone explain,in simple terms, how to block his comments from threads that I otherwise enjoy tremendously.
I thank you in advance.
Dambuster.

Dambuster,

At the bottom of each post is a little red hand that says block. Just click that button.

Cheers,
Jason.

I think Verne is right...we need to get back to the topic of the thread. I for one would like to know folks' Nats experience. Or should we reserve that talk for the discussion list?
