Default Hard to find 2m Pattern Kits

I'm wanting to fly pattern but is frustrating if not impossible to find a 2m Pattern Plane. Evidently IMAC has completely taken over or am I missing someithing. I bought a Great Plane Sequence just to get flying and practice on but really looking for a 2m ARF for more serious practice and some competition. What I have found is the top end stuff for $3000 and up. But for the average guy there does not seem to be much out there. Searching on the internet I did find the Remedy 2m and World models with the 2m Spot On. But could not find any electric 2m under $1000. Any suggestions out there. Thanks. Can the Remedy 2m be converted to electric. I could also go glow 4 stroke. Thanks in advance for any help.

Extreme Flight have just released a 2m Vanquish and Andrew Jesky has released a 2m Osiris. Both appear to be good models under $1k.

There should be build threads on here for both models.

Another option is the Sebart Wind S Pro. Down under they retail for around $1600.00.

Regards,
Jason.

Real kits, so no ARF, simply aren't out there anymore. ARF kits are, but at the $1000 pricemark hard to find, if you want a reasonable current model.

http://www.f3alorenz.de/home-f3a/body-leviosa.htm, although above $1000.

The Rock N Roll might also be an option:

http://www.miniplanes.fr/vgm-petits-...3a-p-2606.html

If you drop the 2m requirement, the Sebart WindS 110 is a VERY good plane and not that much smaller.. and a lot cheaper.

The Osiris, from 3D Hobby Shop flies darn near as good as a 2m plane at a fraction of the price.

Well... I asked in the right place. Thanks all for the responses. Good solid selections. I had no idea I would have that many options. Aslo like the option of maybe something smaller than the 2m size. And yes, I mean't ARF and not kits. Thanks again.

Can't beat the value of a Sebart Wind 110! I think it is the best value for money you can find.

Apart from the external shape of the fuselage and slight similarity of the front end structure, the V4 is totally different compared to the first prototype.

We're still busy taking care of the details so we don't have a detailed description on the website yet, but when we're ready we will start a detailed build thread here on RCU.

Alex, I'm happy to hear you are about to start a "real" building thread (one of the few) here on RCU and am looking forward to following your efforts. Wish you success_Everette

Another good option is a Carf Integral. You can get one for 1040$ (all white and all fiberglass) from http://carf-models.com/public_carf/p...riant&proId=93. You can also find a ca models genesis kit for pretty cheap too (I got mine for 400$)

They are ok if you like flying a brick around. A fellow pattern flyer has one and it weighs over 6kg with an OS 160. Yes, it does fly ok but vertical performance is hampered by the weight. Having said all that, I've not seen him break the model. Must be built like a brick shxt house! The covering is poor quality too. Peels off easily.

Cheers,
Jason.
