And mine are not that far from the beaten path. I didn't think that fellows plane was either.
My wing design has been different for many years but that's it. Petrol, I suppose..... Hanson did a little of that a couple years before me. Of course now we have light and powerful petrol engines from several sources so it's so much simpler.

Probably boring but... I am very happy with it.
BJ Craft Episode with Pletty Advance 30-10, YGE90, 3 blade PT20x13, JR8411 rudder, 2xBLS153 elevator, 2x BLS171 (?) aileron. Extremely smooth flyer with the Advance and three blade.

Hello
Friend of mine Alain did this plane with drawings of my design Harmonie.
Wings and stab are the sames.Only the fuse is different.
All in wood, engine is DLE 30. Maiden flight was done yesterday.

My Feedback: (29)
At my club's last swap meet I picked up this Hydeaway for a mere 60.00. After a covering and paint strip down I glassed the wings and stabs, made new ailerons, elevators and rudder then did a quick paint job. Had a little fun with the name. Power is AXI 5330 FAI, OS HC 1100 speed control and Falcon 19x13.5 three blade prop. I get through the advanced sequence without ever going past 2/3 throttle. Average current draw is 2700-2800 ma per sequence.

That is an EU-1A which is a glass and foam kit. The Eureka version is the earlier EU-1.
RCAIIR and http://www.klasskotemo.com/patternplane.html both produce very nice gel-coated glass and foam versions of the EU-1A (probably lighter than the original by several ounces in the fuselage).

All these planes are stunningly beautiful. My pattern planes are quite "pedestrian" compared to what is shown here. I have a Great Planes Dirty Birdy ARF and an old kit-built Great Planes Ultra Sport 40. I could also stretch it a bit and claim my Great Planes Reactor 46 as a pattern plane since it was advertised as a sport/pattern/3D type. If you set the controls to low rates, it can be flown as a pattern plane.

Old broken nose Smaragd
A Smargard I picked up late last summer. It suffered from a very broken nose. All fixed up now and ready for engine testing and final CG check. I basically just matched the paint as best I could from the wing tube forward.
