Just as an FYI. The site will NOT be open for practice on Sunday as in past years. The NATS have been condensed by the AMA and we no longer have a free day before we start on Monday. Later in the day, the field may be open, but it is not an open day.

Vicente.... If you are planning to fly as a representative for Venezuela in the IMAC World Championship next year, the least you could consider is to fly in the IMAC Nationals also...

I agree with you Mark. Since Wayne asked me in public I will need to respond in public. I officially ask the WC IMAC organization for the requirements to participate in the event. I took the time to make sure I meet all those requirements and I feel that is the case. Yes, I am legal citizen of both countries so paper work is not a problem. Also I got an e-mail from the person that represents FAI in Venezuela approving my participation in this event for Venezuela. It is interesting but I really would like to do it not only because is good for me and I love to fly but also it will be good for IMAC to get as many countries as possible participating in the event. Sorry to all but it was not my intention get distraction from the original thread. Wayne, please send me an e-mail if you have more questions.

I forgot to add the requirements that I officially got form IMAC:
NATIONALITY of CONTESTANTS
All contestants must either be a citizen of the country/nation they are representing, OR presently residing there. Passports or other ID (i.e. Residency status) may be required as proof by the Contest Director, or IMAC. Participants who have dual citizenship or residency status can represent either country, PROVIDING the participant has been approved by the model aviation governing body or the IMAC association in the country he/she is representing. A valid passport or other ID shall be required as proof in this instance of dual citizenship or residency.

Got my info packet/registration confirmation in the mail today. I have to admit I love getting mail from AMA
I know some other people were asking about requirements for electric power safety devices - I stopped at the NSRCA booth in Toledo and confirmed that there is NO NEW REQUIREMENT this year for having a safety switch.
There was a note confirming no practice day, so plan practice accordingly!!!
I should be getting started on my new Bird within the next couple of weeks

Wednesday night at 6:30. Local place names Casey J's. Located at the Muncie airport. Plenty of room for all of us. Cost will be under 20.00 a person. Cash bar and will be giving out Int-Adv awards and announcing finalists for Masters and FAI.
