Default Ys70dz

Hi all,
I have a new YS70DZ that refuses to keep going after start.
I followed the instructions closely i.e. fuel clank needle setting .
The only way it will fire is by putting some fuel down the carby..... it will start but will stop once the fuel is burned.

Any help is appreciated

Thanks in advance

you may want to inspect whether the pump is working properly and the fuel pipes are good to convey pressure....

my own suggestion....

or relative position of the engine to the fuel tank?

Rock the prop back and forth when the engine makes a "click" noise with the injector hose disconnected, once you get the fuel dripping on the hose, reconnect and start, to make it easier, open the needle valve three turns or more before doing this, and once ready to start close it to the normal turns, you have air in the pump.

Regards

Thanks everyone,
I pulled the pump apart and washed out with methanol ......very dirty with fine grit inside.... Mr YS needs to have better quality control.
Turned the prop with starter until fuel was coming out of the pump outlet .It fired straight away.

regards

Which Fuel do you use and do you have a fuel filter somewhere between the tank and carb?
