Sounds great Monte. Looking forward to it. How are winds shaping up in your area? Light and down the runway, I hope?

One heck of a weekend! Perfect weather. Lots of fun folks doing what we love! Great field to fly from and great people to fly with. Jon and Chris going above and beyond in making the weekend as much fun as anyone ever had at a model airplane contest! Monte ran a good contest and getting four full rounds with a fifth round of FAI was remarkable with 40 entries. Can't say enough about the guys at RAMS and how much help they are. I saw a couple of folks with cameras, maybe we can get some photos posted?

Cy'all next time!!

We actually had 41 entries. Results are posted on Don Ramsey's web site http://pages.suddenlink.net/donramsey/ and on the Cajun Nationals group page on face book https://facebook.com/groups/220118814745894?ref Some great pictures on the face book page as well. I'll try to get some of the pictures posted here as well. Join the Cajun Nationals group to keep up with next years plans for the event as we post them throughout the year.

This was without a doubt one of the better contests I have been to this year. Jon and Christine kept us fed for dinner and the RAMS kept things moving as well as having great concessions. Great big thanks to Monte, Jon, and all the others in RAMS and their wives who made this contest the success that it was. I will be there next year for sure. See you all there.

Congratulations on becoming District Champion in Sportsman, Sheldon. Awesome competition, as it was tied and had to go to the tie breaker.

Thanks Monte. Brian said it was the first time he ever had to go to the tiebreaker. I just wish I could have shared the honor with Lynn. It was a very competitive season and we were close through most of it and became good friends in spite of the competitiveness. Say hi to Bryon for me also and let them both know tha I look forward to seeing them next season. By the way, after a long discussion with Brian Clemmons and a lot of thought, I decided to move up to intermediate next year.

Congratulations Sheldon, I think you made a good decision. Intermediate will be challenging at first, but it will teach you a whole new set of flying skills. Good luck next year

Thanks Bryon,

I enjoyed flying with my Cajun brothers a lot last year. It was really fun. Yes, I will be at New Berlin. The weather has been lousy here for the last three or four months so I have not had much practice with the new sequence. I just hope I don't emberrass myself. Looking forward to seeing you there. Are Monte and Lynn coming also?
