Default Allure Bipe by Bryan Hebert of CK Aero

Hi Guys,

The guys at CK Aero have been working hard on a new version of the Allure, The Allure Bipe.

Bryan has recently returned from Thailand to fit out and fly one of the prototypes. The GP version should be ready to fly soon.

BTW, the maiden went very well by all accounts.

Here are some pictures to wet your appetite... More to come so watch this space!

Cheers,
Jason.

Well, Bryan has started on the YS powered Allure Bipe after returning from the NATS.
A number of people (myself included) are very much looking forward to seeing how this one progresses.

Cheers,
Jason.

Every now and then a new product hits the market that is a "Game Changer". The Allure is one such product.

The next big thing to hit the market that will, no doubt, raise the bar even further and set new standards in performance is the new CK Aero "Fuse Hat".

The new Fuse Hat is ergonomically designed to fit any head big or small. It's streamlined design will ensure bonus brownie points when standing on the flight line in front of the judges. As an added bonus, the new Fuse Hat doubles as a weather vane to indicate wind direction. Your head will naturally weather cock to the direction of the wind. You'll never doubt the wind direction again during a competition flight when wearing this dynamic Fuse Hat.

Below is a picture of Bryan modelling the new Fuse Hat design.

Cheers,
Jason.

Hi Guys,

Some good news. The Allure Bipe will get its first flight on American soil tomorrow.

Due to the flooding and subsequent damage to Bryan's home and workshop, Bryan contacted Master Builder Mark Mendonca a former F3A world competitor from Trinidad ( Now a US citizen!) to finish getting the prototype ready to fly. Mark, without hesitation, jumped right in! Mark is a YS pilot and understands the setup required to get a Glow plane ready to fly..

Bryan plans to fly this airplane at the Cajun Nats this weekend..

Here are some more pictures:

Cheers,
Jason.

To Quote Bryan,

"The flight testing was a total success! I have not finished tweaking it but I can tell you it's stunning. ( I do not use these words lightly) .. If you own and like the Allure, you will be shocked at how well the Bipe version carves the pattern. Brett took 3 flights after the contest and was so excited to feel the purity in this plane.. A great design borrowing from the setup platform of the Alferma proto. I used the "Same" wings ,and wing /stab position. It feels like an old friend. In the next coming weeks (lord willing) I will be testing and evaluating the airplane to perfection.. I can tell you it will not need any mix except a down line mix .. This is a great accomplishment for a mass produced Bipe. Brett and I were so disappointed the sun when down today .. But Fall is here ,time is short before the cool weather and short days are upon us... I'll make the most of this time and get these incredible Airplanes on the Boat!"

Hey Scott,

Bryan doesn't recall the exact measurement but believes it's approximately 19" tall.

I think the fin/ rudder may be too big! this thing has more rudder power and "purity with the power" than anything I have ever seen including the Shark Bipe. The lineage of this airplane design comes out of the Shark (The First Covered Cabin Bipe Ever for F3A) and the Proto Alferma

The settings/ Placement for the Thrust ,Wings and Stabs from the Alferma ,and the Design style from my Shark Project...
This combination produced the most Phenomenal outcome, A bipe that Handles like a trainer But capable of some of the most insane things I`ve seen from any of my designs. (with no mix!!) any body from Sportsman to F3A can fly this thing without worrying about it.

When I designed the Allure it was my goal to have a Mono and Bipe version, But the overwhelming popularity of the Allure Mono kept me from completing the project ... Now its done and I`m Extatic!

In the End,the size race can be a fruitless pursuit if you don't have an actual goal or reason. Balance should always be the goals ,,not bragging rights. I could not be happier with the results so look forward to more info on my web site for release dates.

On a side note My three blade project is nearing the end for Glow this is our Contra Effect and I`m also excited about that.

Bryan

I believe Bryan is finalising the testing on the prototype before giving the factory the green light on production. I'm sure it won't be too much longer. :-)

Cheers,
Jason.
