Tenth Anniversary St Clairsville Pattern Classic
The St Clairsville Pattern Classic will celebrate its tenth anniversary this coming weekend, August 20 and 21.
Contest Director Deluxe Rick Cilles has decided to spring for real plaques this year to acknowledge the special occasion.
We'll have everything you've come to expect from our event...Houston's Smoked Chicken for Saturday lunch, along with side dishes. Sausage sandwiches for lunch on Sunday, and lots of snacks to much on through the weekend.
All classes flown, any AMA legal airplane in Sportsman.
Entry fee $35 for FAI, Masters, Advanced and Intermediate, $25 for Sportsman. Sportsman free to any pilot flying in their first contest. In other words, we'll buy you lunch if you decide to give Sportsman a try!
Fileld open for practice on Friday, someone will be there by 10:00 if not earlier.
A note about traffic patterns: If you're coming from the west, everything is as in the past. Coming from the east you'll need to get off one exit east, at 215 and follow US 40 West for a couple of miles. To get to the hotels in the mall area of St Clairsville you'll need to follow 40 East to that exit from the field.
Hope to see you all there,
Scott
