So now that people are biting .....
Does anyone have a list of competitors with equipment they will be using or is it a top secret.

I hear the Four Stroke power plant will be making a comeback.

Can you imagine :
HANNO PRETNER first place
WOLFGANG MATT second place
NARUKE ...... third place

Since the final entry form had to be sent before 1st of August, hopefully the homepage of the event will be updated very soon. Onda, CLPR, Nurila and some others I guess will be among the top five

Hi Mavros,
Looks like a very small entry with some big F3A countries missing altogether.

Likely to be very windy - maybe too windy at times with it being so close to the coast.
If it is, the better guys will cope but it becomes a bit of a lottery and gets spoilt some compared to what is flown in calmer weather !!

Brian

Probably no more than 40 entries. Only needing 10 judges - As Brian says below, 40 - 80 entries only requires 10 judges.

Wow, 40 entries is about 1/2 of a typical WC field. Who is missing? Is pattern interest fading world wide or is this just an anomaly?

Hi,
Yes if the No,, of competitors is between 40 and 80 then 10 judges is the requirement !!
I think there will be a lot more than 40 but maybe not more than 80 !?

Seriously I hope its not true and we get to have another very successful world event.

Looks like 27 countries so 80 give or take. Some will have 4 (juniors, defending World Champ) and some less than 3. Looks like the major contenders will be there.

Ok, confusion here, are we talking "World Cup" as in the heading or "World Championships" like in Argentina later in the year"

The World cup is done and dusted, won by Wolfgang Matt as I reported.

They are only using 10 judges, so less than 80 entries.

May I ask the source of your information? Bulletin 2 lists 20 judges?

It would be nice to have the entrants listed on the website.

What makes you think it will be windier than other WC?

Last time in Argentina was in their windy season, August. Not so now maybe?

Hey Con,

The 200's were shipped yesterday, so hopefully get them end of next week.

I'm not going to Argentina.

Are you going to the APA Champs?

Hi Scott,
Ah, were you the Australian reserve judge ?? Pity.

If the entry is close to but less than 80 and if the organiser wanted and/or could afford 20 judges it would still be 10 only !!!!?
This is because the SC says ; 'must' be 10 !!
Are the 10 who are going listed someplace ??

Brian
