What do you want to do?

The four stroke will need 20% or 30% nitro to match the power of the Irvine on low nitro fuel.

It's much more pleasant to fly a four stroke unless you but a big pipe on the two stroke, tuned to a nice, low 10,000 RPM.

The four stroke will maintain a more constant airspeed since you use a larger prop which will have more down-line braking.

The two stoke will be better for straight line speed if you put a racing prop and pipe on it, but this not really what the Zen is about, though it can move along if you want. The four stroke will have better throttle response for 3-D flip-flopping, and will climb better in vertical uplines once you run out of momentum.

IMHO you'll be better off with the IRvine .52 it pulls as big a prop a s a 4c (Irvine's like webra's) are long stroke engines a 12 x 6 is standard for many planes.
You wouldn't have any problems with the Rivine the perry carb is very good at keeping low idling and the engine si VERY reliable

I'm building one now & have a Jett Fire .50 on the way. I wanted to use the covered center line pipe design of the Zen 50. Didn't find any other rear exhaust .50 size motor. Any thoughts on this combo? Thanks for the info on the retracts shim.
