Default OLD SCHOOL PATTERN WITH NEW LIFE!!!

I know there are some of you guys still out there flying the old school, go fast, 2 stroke 60-61 pipe powered rockets from the good old days. (like me) Here is a plane that caught my eye. (and bought a tears of joy!)The Virginia Creeper! 62" wing spand...679 1/2" of wing area.... OH YEAH!!!! The plans are offered at RCM. Dreams of piped Rossi's and retracts for this guy tonight!

Would the Virginia Creeper be SPA style legal though? Gorgeous, lovely ship, love to see more of it. I'm going to buy those plans.

www.aero-sports.com seems to just be place-holding though.

ChicaWolverina,
The Virginia Creeper is not SPA legal. http://www.seniorpattern.com/planes.asp
It looks like it could be a candidate for the Ballistic Pattern Association, though.

ChicaWolverina,
The Virginia Creeper was featured in the March 2004 RC Modeler Magazine. It was designed some time prior to publication. Here is a link to the plans.

RCM Plan # 1332. Haven't seen it listed on cutting services or short-kit sites.
