Default What motor mount for a pattern...

I bought a pattern airplane and I am trying to figure out where and what motor mount to get. Instead of trying to describe it, I attached some pictures.

Thanks a lot.

Default Motor mount ??

The link doesn't work.

what size plane are you building? .40 // .60 // 1.20 ??

Try Gator R/C for a nice mount (I will be using one in my new Gator Typhoon)

Merle Hyde makes the Hyde mounts available from Hyde Competetion products or from Don's Hobbies

Many other "soft" mounts are available from Tower / Horizon by Du-Bro and other makers.

Default What motor mount for a pattern...

The link was working yesterday but now it doesn't The airplane size is a .60. I need a special mount. I will try to repost the pictures somewhere else because it is really difficult to explain but so easy with a picture.

Thanks

Default .60 size soft mounts

Sullivan is still making the flex mount system, which is a backplate mount something like the old Gator mounts. I also like the Dave Brown Vibra Damp system - both are light and strong. Generally, these 2 backplate mounts don't require a nose ring, but the Vibra Damp mount is so soft that I use one.

Hope this helps..........
