Default eBay pattern plane

Here are a few pictures of a plane I purchased on eBay. It was fairly cheap, but after all the work required I think I should have bought an Excelleron or Fliton Infinity.

Anyhow, does anybody recognize this design? Apparently it is made by a new model company in China, and I don't know where or how they got the design. It is all laser cut and is covered with Monokote.

I am going to use an OS 91FX on a pipe. It has clearance for a 16" prop so I will probably try that size first.

Here are a few more pictures.

Unfortunately the person who sold this to me on eBay is no longer registered, so I don't know whether they will be available in the future.

Here are the weights for the plane, from a moderately accurate scale.

Fuse/cowl top 32.1 oz
wing tube (carbon) 2.0
stab 3.7
left elevator 1.0
right elevator 0.9
rudder 1.2
right wing/aileron 10.3
left wing/aileron 11.1
cowl bottom 1.3
canopy 1.8
landing gear 7.8
included hardware 7.8

Total 81 oz.

All combined parts register 78.9 oz on the scale. I believe the 81.0 oz weight to be more accurate.

All told this should weigh under 8 lbs ready to fly. I will post more pics along the way.

I thought the covering scheme looked familiar. I think the fuse is a bit different (this fuse has a sub fin like the Alliance and Infinity), but the wing and tail planform appear to be quite similar to the Beat On.

I will keep posting updates as I build. Thanks for looking!
