I'm glad to see Mike Wickizer flying instead of just watching Brett, Mike should be getting better fast he's got a pretty good coach, LOL. Hats off to you Mike.

Steve:
You'll notice from the final placings I have quite a bit of room to improve. I actually won in the raffle what I felt to be the grand prize, a case of fuel...how fitting. I had a good time with good friends at a great contest and for this early in my flying I couldn't ask for any more.

I would also like to say a big THANK YOU to the Sparks club, Mark,Richard,Jim,Glen and everyone who helped with a great contest. The First place plaques with the stick plane attached make me wish I could be in contention for 1st someday. (it doesn't hurt to dream)
John F explained his objectives at a contest and as always he has a great attitude about it. After thinking about what he said I added #3 to his list.
1. Don't hurt anyone
2. Don't fly behind the judges line
3. Don't break the plane
4. Don't get any zeros
5. Have fun
I met all but 1 of the 5 objectives this weekend.
Maybe next time, if I can quit flopping my stallturns I can meet all 5
Eddie

Congratulations Mark and Co. on a great contest. All those new faces in Sportsman can infuse a lot of energy into the event. I guess the primer really helped get a few guys over the first barrier. Keep up the good work.
Anyone going to Crowley, La on the 28th?
