these servos are more than enough. Normally the rudder needs to be stronger than anything else in pattern work. We have someone using this model in sportsman last year and it worked very well. Have fun and burn lots of fuel.

Hi,

.... using my Epsilon 90 for P-07 practise in the wintertime, with some old futaba 148 / 3001 servos ... more than enough ... buy some fuel instead and have fun .

great............I was sure about those servos, but extra opinions are always welcome!!!

in a few days I will start posting some pictures and info about the build process..........not the classic endless and sometimes boring step by step process, only the main points and changes i'll made

for example, im building a hatch to have an easier access to the fuel tank

see you soon

The fuel tank is easily accessible without a hatch on mine. I put a plastic foam block behind the tank to hold mine in place. That is a large tank area and my tank comes out easily if I need to get it out. I've seen Widebodys that hit hard on the nose and the nose area is weak on the Epsilon too. Wouldn't a hatch weaken that area even more? A build thread would be nice on this kit.

Special Edition??? I didn't know about that one. I think my tank is a 12 oz Dubro. It pulls right out. You will see when you get the fuselage together. There is lots of room.

I cut my ailerons and elevators short. They don't run to the tips. It is very very smooth like this. I like it far better than my Widebody. I've heard that other people do the same thing.

The Epsilon 90 is a great plane. As far as the wheels... your best bet is to take the wheel pants to the hobby store and test fit them. They are very narrow, I had a hard time getting a good fit.

I used epoxy for medium Robart hinges. However, I was too careful with it and didn't use enough. I've had some hinges pull out. I used Gorilla glue for the first time to glue them back in, and that's what I'm using from now on. It is great stuff if you remember that it will expand. I had to shoot the glue into the hinges with a syringe as I couldn't pull them all out on a finished plane. The stuff is great. Even if it expands too much it won't glue the hinge part like epoxy will. You can either wipe it off, or peel it off if it has begun to dry.

Can anyone recomend throws for each surface (high and low rates) in inches? My throw meter is in inches, not degrees (as the instructions provide).
Thanks
