Robert, there were never any full size plans. they simply weren't needed.
That being said I THINK Mark Atwood may have something like that, ...

Throw me a frikkin bewn!!!!!!!!!!!!
We will build a giant "La-ser" on the Moon and begin shooting all of the District 3 pattern pilots. This will eliminate all competition and allow Number 2 to be the District Champion . . .
.
I will call this plan, "The Alan Parson's Project". . .

Mike,
There is no one on this planet happier you are feeling better than myself. I know it has been a VERY long road and I was there for most of it. I'm also very sad to see you leave pattern, but I 100% understand. I'm not even convinced it will be that much longer before I follow you in the sunset.

Hey Kirk,
Finished primer and ready for paint you may gain an ounce or ounce and a half. My paint jobs primer and all have gained maybe 3 oz.

OK Mike, now that you've taken your "best cheap shot", have nothing positive to contribute anymore after having threatened to "quit pattern" on several recent occasions, perhaps it's finally reached that point and it's time for you to follow your dreams. Good luck to you, Everette

Mike has helped a LOT of people and had his health suffer in the process and he still took the moral high road on occasions where a lesser man would not have. Mike has left pattern and it is our loss.

RE: Black Magic VF3 Build Thread
This is my last post on RCU.
Thanks go out to all of my friends over the years (you know who you are). Also to the many Black Magic owners who bucked a trend and did something people said couldn't be done. You built your own plane and whooped tail with it.
Ignoring the ongoing stupidity of some lunatics for the moment, if you ever wonder why I left pattern and R/C in general, it isn't that hard to see. Having to deal with hateful, jealous little punks (of all ages) gets tiresome. It's the ones you guys DON'T see that do the most damage. The ones that are clever enough to hide in the background and scheme like scool kids. It's also a never ending issue I've had for years. I brought a lot of it on myself being too outspoken, but at least you didn't have to wonder what I REALLY was thinking. Some people hate success or happiness in any form and will do whatever they can to destroy it. There's only so much you can ignore, and constant war with a group of psychos gets old.
As for the Black Magics, I spoke briefly with Rick and he has my full blessings to do what he is doing. I have no idea of the quality of work etc, so don't ask me; that's on him. I hope he manages to breathe life back into it and has much success, and the people that own these planes.
I had a lot of great times with a lot of you at the contests, and just goofing off. I am going to miss the vast majority of you guys. But my health went straight down after starting the Black Magics and it got nothing but worse until I ended up in the hospital multiple times last year. If you don't remember what I looked like BEFORE I got sick, search for a thread on here called "performance of a chaos" and look at my pic on page 2. Then remember what I looked like toward the end. I'm not giving up my life for this stuff.
For the freakin morons who are absolutely clueless, I haven't flown so much as a foamie in over 2 years and have been gone since then. It was only recently that I made the decidion to sell off and be done with it. So either crawl back under your ijit rock, bother someone else, or better yet, just go die somewhere and do the world a favor.
I wish the rest of you nothing but luck and success. You're going to need all of it to deal with the likes of a few of these tiny little people, as they now need a new target. Is it you? Go ahead and ignore it and see what happens. You've been warned.
So with that, best wishes and best of luck.
-Mike

Mike, this one's for you. Its been a great ride- and one of the few YS designs out there. We thank you for your innovation, dedication and commitment to the hobby.

Hi Don,
Thanks! Do you have the plans or the instruction manual for the Black Magic VF3? I have the complete kit but no 'documentation'. I have perused the build thread here which has a lot of helpful information, but I still need templates and size/location of the control surfaces (C/G, too).
That's a great photo of Joseph and your Black Magic. Good luck to Joseph this year, he has some pretty big contests coming up!
Regards,
Will
